Load form after everything else on page has loaded?

  • wb115wb115 February 15
Is there a way to have the embedded form load after all other page content has displayed? The new site we're developing uses includes for header, footer and three other page elements.

Here's what happens: around 2/3 of a page loads--no footer or content below the form. 2-3 sec. later, the form appears. Only then does the footer and other content display. This looks bad. In another site that does not use includes, the form is the last thing to be displayed.

Can the form be delayed until after all other page elements have loaded? If the form wasn't slow to load, this wouldn't be an issue. For the includes, we're using #include on an Apache server.

The HTML is structured approx. like this:
    Header include
    Left navigation column include
    Center content area (straight HTML)
    Wufoo form in right column
    Footer include
